Ovarian and Prostate Awareness Month

September is both Ovarian and Prostate Cancer Awareness Month
Two conditions that touch the very roots of human vitality, creativity, and identity.
From a medical lens, these cancers arise through complex biological factors. But many holistic traditions also explore the energetic and emotional layers that influence the ovaries and prostate.
The ovaries are linked with creation and feminine energy. When creativity is suppressed, when grief around lineage or womanhood is carried, or when self-expression feels unsafe, the energy here can become heavy and stagnant.
It is much like water that no longer flows (when it becomes stagnant) what begins to grow there is often imbalance rather than vitality.
The prostate is tied to masculine energy and legacy. When fear of aging, inadequacy, or unprocessed resentment builds, the energy here can feel constricted; pressuring the body in ways that mirror those inner beliefs. Much like a river that is dammed, natural flow becomes blocked, and pressure builds until it reshapes the landscape.
Beyond metaphor, modern science is confirming what many ancient traditions already knew: we are profoundly influenced by sound.
Europe has been using hyper-focused sound energy to treat prostate cancer for over 15 years. Recently approved by the FDA in the U.S, this therapy shows an 86% success rate in early-stage prostate cancer ... without the risks of radiation or chemotherapy.
Research supports why sound is so effective. We are giant sound conductors: our skin, bones, ears, and the water within our bodies all absorb sound waves, which act on a cellular level.
A 2015 study in biomedical engineering revealed that hair-like structures on our cell membranes, called primary cilia, actually receive and respond to vibrational energy from sound, light, and frequency. Like tuning forks, these vibrations alter proteins, changing the shape of the cell itself.
This opens pathways for treating conditions like arthritis, polycystic kidney disease, obesity, heart failure, and cancer.
This direct interaction between sound and cell structure is also why the Harmonic Egg can be such a powerful tool for balance. By immersing the body in precisely tuned frequencies of sound and colour, the Egg helps primary cilia recalibrate, encouraging cells to shift back into harmony and restoring balance on a cellular level.
Sound is not new—it has been used for centuries by Indigenous healers, monks, yogis, and mystics through mantras, chants, and ceremony to support physiological health.
At Within Wellness Studio, the Harmonic Egg brings these ancient practices into modern form using sound, light, and resonance in a precise, updated way. It helps the body return to homeostasis, while also addressing subconscious and emotional layers where imbalance can begin. On a cellular level, the Egg works with the body’s own vibrational intelligence, reminding cells how to return to their natural harmony.
This is not about blame. It is about awareness. When we tend to body and belief, biology and energy, we create space for deeper healing.
This month, as we honour those living with ovarian and prostate cancer, let’s also honour the unseen layers ... creativity, identity, vitality, and purpose that nourish our health from within.
